Building Beautiful Gardens Since 2004

It all started many years ago in Cornwall. Victor spent his summers helping his step father Martin Curnow roll granite boulders and pillars into place to create standing stones. Martin taught Victor to build beautiful traditional Cornish hedges from nothing but earth and stone, as well as making mosaics made of local Pebbles and reclaimed slate. Martin has over 30 years of experience building gardens and is always on hand with his wealth of knowledge, creative design input and plant care expertise. Victor studied illustration at university eventually, specialising in information illustrations and visual strategies for companies as well continuing to develop his skills as a designer botanist and builder .

We started Bespoke Southern Gardens with an aim to provide a service that mixes creative design ideas with traditional and contemporary building practices to create spaces that have a positive impact on peoples lives as well as the natural environment.

    VICTOR HAGGER

    Founder. Victor has 14 years of experience in illustration, design and hard landscaping. A trained garden designer and botany specialist, Victor has a passion for plants and building beautiful outdoor spaces mixing creative ideas with practical, long-term outdoor solutions.

  • MARTIN CURNOW

    Expert Advisor. 35 years experience in Landscaping and horticulture Martin has qualifications certified by the royal horticultural society, Martin has been designing and creating gardens since the mid 90s, although not always on site martin is always there to help out with amazing creative ideas for planting, design and mosaics.
