Building Beautiful Gardens Since 2004

It all started many years ago in Cornwall. Victor spent his summers helping his step father Martin roll Cornish granite boulders and pillars into place to create standing stones in the monolithic tradition. Martin a Cornishman himself, taught Victor to build beautiful Cornish hedges from nothing but earth and stone, as well as making mosaics made of local Pebbles and reclaimed slate . These days Martin is on hand with his wealth of knowledge, creative design input and plant care expertise. Victor studied illustration at university and specialises in creating visual plans for companies and individuals working towards a specific goal. He has spent many years honing his skills as a designer and illustrator, while studying landscape design and botany. In 2020 Victor collaborated with Ben Edwards of Little Tree where he developed cutting edge hard landscaping methods. We started Bespoke Southern Gardens with an aim to provide a service that mixes creative design ideas with traditional and contemporary building practices to create spaces that have a positive impact on peoples lives as well as the natural environment.

    VICTOR HAGGER

    Founder. Victor has 14 years of experience in illustration, design and hard landscaping. A trained garden designer and botany specialist, Victor has a passion for plants and building beautiful outdoor spaces mixing creative ideas with practical, long-term outdoor solutions.

  • MARTIN CURNOW

    Expert Advisor. 35 years experience in Landscaping and horticulture Martin has qualifications certified by the royal horticultural society, Martin has been designing and creating gardens since the mid 90s, although not always on site martin is always there to help out with amazing creative ideas for planting, design and mosaics.
